The Diet that will take you off the yo-yo train

Another week gone by.

Seriously; I hope you all spent it well. Life happens whether we want it to or not so I at least you enjoying it and controlling how you feel about it!

And oh my gosh! I hope you had a GREAT Mothers Day!!! Seriously I was thinking of you ALL. XO

OK so last week is slightly a blur; I really gotta start taking notes down to remind myself--mental notes just don't do it for me anymore!
I started a new Food Freedom program, an end to emotional eating kinda thing and ya'll its freaken history in the making. I literally lost 5lbs in less than a week and YES I ate more food than I ever ate before, I felt full and satiated, I was not starving myself and YES I even enjoyed a donut on Mothers Day along with a fresh mint mojito. LIke what is this nonsense right?!

For those of you who know me; ya'll know I have used portion containers for YEARS; and that helped me lose about 40lbs twice after two babies. (I'm currently 10lbs more than my pre-baby #3). However with this third baby my extra poundage is kinda just hanging out taking its sweet time.  AND adding another kiddo to the plate as just added to my emotional eating struggle.
I eat when I'm stressed.
I eat after the kids go down because "I deserve" it ----
I eat because my husband is home and feel it fills some weird happy spot.
I eat more because I didn't workout and feel I've all ready sabotaged the day.

Like NO! I'm SO over that--I don't want my food to get in the way like that.
I am so tired of always relying or thinking that exercise is what I need in order to lose.
I'm so tired of eating when I get stressed and then beating myself up for 'eating this or that and that 'bad' food. Like why can't I just eat good food, enjoy it and still lose weight too!

You feel me?!



Well THIS is exactly what I"m learning! To put a STOP that endless cycle, to make the scale your friend! Yup I said it--I did have to buy batteries for my scale--yikes! And most of all I'm learning that I truly do have control of my food choices; not in a restrictive way but a healthy, happy way. It feels extremely freeing.
You have no idea!

I will leave you with that to process! I have a new computer ya'll and I can't figure out how to get my pictures on it---I suck I know. So bare with me while I keep sharing my progress photos!
