The Minimalists Guide to Skincare

Happy Monday Friends!!

Hope you had a stellar weekend, can you BELIEVE its back to school already?!

It seriously blows my mind!

Anyhow onward and upward, I wanted to share with you my newest and I'm extremely obsessed with skincare routine.

If you follow me on social media you know I've been struggling with some serious skin issues since I got pregnant with baby number three, and well she is a whopping 6 months old, soon to be 7 and I was STILL searching and looking for something SIMPLE and natural that would fix my unknown strange problem.

So what was I experiencing:
*Dull Skin
*Increase in wrinkles--that is bound to happen, but I just wanted to be more poractive about it.
*Strange small bumps covering the marjority of my cheeks and jaw line. I even went to the dermatologist last year to have it looked at and she said "Oh, its probably because your pregnant and hormones are weird like that, it will go away." UMMM NOT the answer I was looking for, and thanks for your help FYI.

Anyhow, At that appointment I was on a mission to find clean, skincare that was not going to break the bank nor give me cancer. I think our industry in all areas, food AND skincare is a hot mess and there are very little companies that actually care about you as a human.

SO, I found a Charcoal bar, and ya'll it was a bit pricey but its been almost a YEAR and I STILL have it. HA. It seemed to clear up my skin the first few weeks, but then it went right back to its whacky ways. And I continued to use the bar and thought maybe I need a new lotion routine. Well if you look for 'clean face lotion' there is a SHIT ton out there. And everything I researched and looked into had a billion and one steps to cleanse the face, then use a toner, and a serum and this and that.

Like WHY did it have to be so difficult? I didn't want to put 7 different things on my face morning and night! About a month ago I came across a company called Primally Pure thanks to an awesome business podcast I listen too. (Thanks Jenna Kutcher!). It peaked my interest because she has been trying to conceive for a very long time, started changing her skin care and I trust her opinion so I looked into it.

What did I LIKE about this Primally Pure Company?! Well first things first, when I clicked the ABOUT tab I read that Bethany, the founder first had a organic, all natural beef farm (like Hi, we can be besties right now) and that was the start to her skin care creation. Something SIMPLE, that works.
The SECOND BEST thing I liked about it, is that when I clicked on the Facial tab, there were very FEW options. One for your skin type, and another cream if you felt you needed it.
That was It.
Like hello, exactly what I was looking for all along!

SO I have been using the Facial Oil Cleanser for Oily Skin for a week now, and hands down the BEST I have EVER used. I wash my face 1x a day, in the evenings. I use a sunscreen lotion if I'm going in the sun and that's it. Its simple, clean and I can't imagine my life without it at this moment.

The other thing is I really, REALLY was very skeptical that something so simple and natural would bring my skin back to its normal state in such a short amount of time. (Because it states it could take 2-3 weeks) But ya'll know that I only share things that I stand by and what makes my life SIMPL-ER. ;)

If you are looking for safer, non-toxic, and a simple skin care routine, I highly encourage you to check out Primally Pure. P.S this is not sponsored in any way, I am just extremely passionate in sharing what works for me.

They also have a kick ass deodorant, Feel free to read my review on that over here.
